About Cynthia Barrow
After completing her corporate career, Cynthia turned her full attention to her love of painting. She considers herself a painter of memories and emotion, giving careful consideration for the subject and the composition.
Born in Oklahoma, Cynthia was 15 years old when her beloved father died. As an outlet for healing, her mother signed her up for art lessons. Soon painting grew to become her delight and dream. At the start, she knew that her love and ability to paint were gifts from the LORD. At first, painting was a way to express and discover my joy, sorrow, loneliness and dreams. And now, painting is a way for her to enjoy the life He had planned for her. It is a quiet reflective life of remembering Him and praising Him through her paintings.
Cynthia’s was blessed with a successful business career. Nonetheless, she longed for the years when she could devote herself to painting. Leaving the corporate life behind, and after moving and settling into life on the Texas Coast, she returned to school to study art and live a life of no regrets and now considers painting her new vocation. Cynthia, along with her husband, currently resides on the Texas coast where she continues to study art as well as teach private lessons in her home studio in Rockport, Texas.
